Shield

Conquer the field with a wooden Shield. The one I made is lightweight and made from 6mm thick plywood with a draw handle and two pieces of dowel glued to each end of the handle to give me the desired room for my hand to fit. The shield I made pictured below is 280mm in diameter and the single handhold provides great maneuverability. The loop on top means I can hang it on my shorts using my diy waist clip with hook between rounds. If you make a wooden shield and are playing in wet environments, coat your shield with timber varnish to preserve it’s life.
