Flint Tolley, the creator of Backyard Blasters, believes the game most people play when having a Dart Gun War at home or in the backyard, (or both) is “lets just shoot at each other until we get bored”.
The only objective is to shoot other players. There’s nothing else to it. That gets boring pretty quick.
You may have some objects you can use for cover, though they may not be safe or easy to setup.
But what if there was equipment you could make at home that could be used both indoors and out, and not just for the “lets shoot at each other until we get bored” game, oh no, but for games that have more challenging objectives and rules?

Boys have played with toy weapons throughout history. You, me, and every other human are the result of thousands of years of human evolution, part of which is playing with toy weapons. Dart Gun Wars are merely an evolution of this.

Dart Gun Wars are an activity that is safe and easy to play, making it suitable for all ages. Compared to Laser Tag, Paintball, Airsoft or Gelsoft, Dart Gun Wars are more affordable, safer, and easier to play.

Payload, Conquest and Rush are games created by Flint to be strategic, dynamic and fast paced, wether you are playing indoors or out, with one other person or a full house (10 players).

Growing up (mainly) in Tropical North Queensland, Flint ran a business selling toy guns online from 2014 to 2020, has been a futsal referee, cashier, caretaker, courier driver, warehouse worker, salesman, and served in the Royal Australian Air Force.
He currently resides in Tropical North Queensland and is moving to Brisbane soon to pursue a career in the arts.
